Ridge Sheet selection depends on the roof profile, roof pitch, panel thickness and the way the two roof slopes meet. A well-matched ridge should cover the roof joint properly while allowing rainwater to move away from the connection. For sandwich panel roofs, the ridge profile, material, thickness, coating and colour should be coordinated with the main roof panels. This is particularly important in the GCC, where strong sun, dust, humidity and occasional heavy rain can put additional stress on exposed roof accessories.
How do I choose between a 32/250 mm and 45/250 mm Ridge Sheet?
The Ridge Sheet should be selected to match the roofing profile used on the project. If the roof uses the 32/250 profile, the matching ridge profile should be selected; the same principle applies to the 45/250 profile.
